Project Coordinator – Field Services & Logistics (Johannesburg office)

VF! Johannesburg is looking for a Project Coordinator that will focus on delivering the project outcomes that relate to field services and logistics, within the context of a retail environment.

We are a hard-working, fun-loving team that cares for each team member and wants to see them progress to achieve their career aspirations.

Experience:

2 years of experience in a technical installation, project coordination, logistics, or related role

Skills requirements and characteristics:

  • Matric and Tertiary qualification in Project Management and/or Logistics; or NQF level 5
  • Strong planning, prioritization and task management skills
  • Strong administrative skills, and good attention to detail
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Flexible and resilient
  • Works well as an individual and as part of a team, and willing to do what it takes to get the job done
  • Knowledge of HS Codes and Incoterms advantageous
  • Understanding of project management principles advantageous
  • Proficient in Google sheets/Excel
  • Proficiency in Zoho beneficial

Key responsibilities:

Project Administration: Carrying out all administrative functions relating to installations and logistics.
Coordination and Planning: Plan, schedule & coordinate multiple installation projects and teams concurrently. Planning & scheduling of all logistics functions.
Managing execution of all Field Services & Logistics Projects to strict Quality, Cost, Delivery standards

  • Manage all field installation teams to QCD standards through defined service level agreements to deliver service excellence, while ensuring conformance to all safety, environmental & compliance requirements.
  • Manage the company’s logistics functions (including import/export, warehousing & distribution).
  • Implement strict financial controls on installation & logistics related projects
  • Continuously evaluate the performance of installation and logistics service providers against service level agreements.
